    It is the biggest question for job seekers, how long they should wait for a job offer after interview and GD. It is very common that there is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement when you get a job offer. But waiting for a prolonged time and avoiding another opportunity can be harmful to your career. Therefore, before taking any decision one has to consider about various things, which help to decide how much time one should wait for job offer once his or her interview and group discussion is over.

    1. Depends on size of organization

    There may be many reasons for delay in posting job offer letter to the candidate by the company. It depends upon the size of organization and how big it is. It also depends on the process of selection that requires long hiring chain. It is possible that employers search is still going on. If you have knowledge about complete hiring process of an organization, you can wait for the while for the job offer.

    1. Stay in touch

    If you think that the job will have more potential for your bright future then just do not sit in hope of getting appointment letter. You must contact the employer and ask how much time they will take to provide you a job offer letter. If you find out that there is no possibility for the job then don’t sit with the expectations and apply for job in another company.

    1. Other opportunity

    If you are still in touch with the employer and it seem to you that they are deliberately delaying your job offer letter then tell them about your other job opportunities in hand you are having.     Even, if you have a good job offer, and offer letter is on the way, and will take quite some time, you should not sit idle in the free time. You should utilize the time learning something new and develop your skills. It helps you to refine your skills, talent and provides you an excellent platform for your bright future. You should always try to upgrade your skill sets in free time, so that you could fit in your role more easily.
